Dazzling Light Installations, Street Entertainers and Music make up the Procession of Light. You can watch or take part and even carry a Lantern in exchange for a donation to Focus Ireland. 6.30pm St Stephen Green on 31st. (FREE)
Beat the Drum to Beat Homelessness:
The procession finale is The Worlds Largest Bodhran Session attempting to beat the current of 980 Bodhran players in one place. Carrolls Irish Gift Shops are donating money to Focus Ireland for reduced price Bodhrans for the event. (mostly FREE)
Walk a mile in their shoes:
Find out more about Dublin’s history while getting in your aerobics and fresh air with a fascinating walking tour on the 30th from 3-5pm with stories of Easter Rising, Ghost Tours and Tenements. (FREE)
Light up your Life!
Amazing Illuminations on the beautiful Iveagh Building in St Stephens Green will wow your senses on 30th and 31st at 7pm with 3D projection technology celebrating Irish Heroes of past and present from Sports, Music and the Arts. (FREE)
You shall go to the Ball!
This year you have a choice of New Year’s Eve Balls, but where to find them? Either a Masquerade in Mansion House or a Gala Ball in Double Tree by Hilton on Burlington Road.

For those who like to drink Grey Goose Martini’s and get you dancing shoes on a little earlier this year, there is a Disco Lunch in Brasserie Sixty6 on 30th and 31st from 1-5pm.
